Course: Statistics with R


Statistics with R This course gives an understanding of how to calculate, graph, and interpret statistics. The course emphasizes the application of statistics to gain insight into real-world industry problems. To make students more marketable to potential employers, this course uses the popular open source programming language known as R. Topics include the following: (1) Statistics 101: An overview; (2) Dataframes: Working with data in R; (3) Central Tendency: Mean, Median, Mode, etc. (4) Variance; (5) Single Samples; (6) Two Samples; (7) Regression; (8) Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The course also includes several sections on working with R.
